The first three years of a child’s life are more than just milestones—they are a momentous journey of neurological discovery. At Los Angeles Education Partnership (LAEP), we believe that understanding the “why” behind child behavior is the first step in supporting a child’s journey from diapers to diplomas℠.
That is why our Ready2Teach team is proud to announce the Zero to Three: Growing Brain Series.
What is the Growing Brain Series?
This virtual professional development series is a deep dive into the fascinating world of brain development from birth to age three. Led by our certified trainers, these sessions bridge the gap between complex science and real-world applications.
Whether you are an educator, a caregiver, or a community partner, this series provides the tools needed to nurture healthy emotional and cognitive growth during the most critical years of development.
What You Will Learn:
- The Architecture of the Brain: How early experiences shape brain structure.
- Neuroplasticity in Action: Why the first 1,000 days are a “window of opportunity.”
- Relationship-Based Care: How stable, nurturing environments fuel learning.
- Practical Strategies: Science-backed techniques to support infants and toddlers in the classroom and at home.
