Recently, LAEP, Pomona Unified School District (PUSD), and Principal Tatiana Gomez hosted the inaugural “Pull Up” Community Resource Fair at Philadelphia Elementary School!
This wasn’t just an event; it was a crucial lifeline for families facing the loss of vital federal nutrition assistance (SNAP). Our Community Schools model immediately transformed the campus into a Resource Hub, bringing over a dozen partners (health screenings, legal aid, job training, and more) directly to the neighborhood.
A big shout out goes to our LAEP Community Schools team for their great work, especially Jazmine Contreras and Erik Plumeda for putting in the action to make this happen. This is what true partnership and urgent response looks like.
Hit PLAY to see the energy, the impact, and the partners who made this happen.
